“We do everything in the air conditioning space,” Matthew says. “Residential, commercial, breakdowns, installs – you name it.”

“You’ve got to be ready to argue a bit,” Matthew jokes, “But also ready to listen.”

“You have to listen to each other’s perspectives and use that to make good decisions within the business.

“Che is structured and bossy – but in a good way, whereas I’m more the people-person…and together, it just works.”

The couple also juggles family life with running the business, balancing work with their three children, along with the added schedules that come with it. Whether it’s attending their daughter’s dance recitals or supporting their son’s sporting games, family is at the heart of everything they do.

“We tag-team a lot,” says Matthew.

“Che might work later some days, and I’ll be at the kids’ events, or vice versa. But we make it work.

“Family is everything to us.”

And when it comes to customer service, McGuire Air & Refrigeration stands by its commitment to do things right.
