Since 2013, Bev Ferris has invested her time and heart in Sapphire Financial Services, a trusted Mackay-based firm that supports locals through every stage of their financial journey. With decades of industry experience, Bev specialises in guiding pre-retirees and retirees through wealth building, estate planning, and achieving financial freedom with clarity and compassion.
Bev didn’t originally plan on a future in finance…but life had other plans in mind. A business degree led to a role at AMP in the ’90s, and from there, her passion has excelled beyond measure. Today, she’s known not only for her reliable advice but also for being a listening ear during clients' most vulnerable moments, such as the loss of a partner or throughout times of navigating complex estate matters.
She champions community involvement, with Sapphire sponsoring a range of initiatives, from junior football to impactful causes. But Bev is quick to credit her dedicated team, consisting of receptionist Sarah and adviser-in-training Shannon, who have helped shape the firm’s reputation for excellence.

A: Set a budget, stick with it and don’t spend beyond your means. I also encourage everyone to consider their estate planning needs and start saving sooner rather than later.
