After the spate of wild weather across North Queensland, awareness around home resilience has reached new heights especially among first home buyers.
“The Cyclone upgrade incentives have seen a rise in enquiries from customers looking to strengthen their homes,” Brad explained.
And when it comes to older homes, the same structural flaws pop up time and again, especially in roof frameworks.
“Roof framework is something that we are upgrading with almost every roof replacement”, said Brad
“The structural standards of yester-year are no longer compliant with current cyclone standards for roof framework and tie-down. Recent innovations in building materials and tie-down fasteners have made it easy to streamline the upgrade on an existing roof frame and make it very affordable for the customer.”
A Team That Works Together IN and OUT of WORK
Behind the success story is a workplace culture that many tradespeople dream of. With early starts, sweaty days, and plenty of camaraderie, the Geiger Solutions team has built something rare a family atmosphere that fuels their strong and energetic workforce.
Every Friday the Geiger team have a BBQ after work with everybody including families welcome to join. Colleagues also spend weekends together, fishing and camping. Brad said it’s a real family type vibe.
