Jake Flaherty takes a highly personal approach to financial planning. He’s driven by a desire to give clients the kind of support he once wished he’d had. He believes every financial journey is unique, and he’s committed to helping individuals map out a future that aligns with their goals, lifestyle, and personal values.

“Managing finances can be quite a confusing area for a lot of people,” explains Jake.

“Often, people come into money very quickly through something like inheritance or they’ve finally got their super pension, and working out how to best use it can be quite confronting. It’s definitely not one size fits all. Some people are coming into retirement and want to sit in the shade and read books, others want to travel the world!”

Jake takes the time to get to know each client’s priorities, helping them gain clarity and confidence in their financial future.

“When you tell them that they will have 20 years of comfortable retirement and see the relief on their faces, it’s very rewarding.”

Since joining Eclipse in 2019, Jake has combined a sharp analytical mind with a strong passion for helping others.

Away from the office, Jake is equally dedicated to his family and community. A father to three energetic boys, he juggles work and home life with enthusiasm. He’s also heavily involved with Whitsunday United Football Club, where he’s both a seasoned player and respected senior member.
