Originally from New Zealand, Lauriely was a Dive Instructor in Egypt and a temp worker in London before moving to Australia in 2001. She picked up her first make-up brush as a hobby when she had two young children at home and, after studying a course, fell in love with the artform. Turning a hobby into a career, over almost two decades Lauriely has carved out a reputation for being one of the most highly sought after make-up artists in the region. During this time, she has been the preferred make-up artist for Core Life Magazine, worked on a recent cover feature for Queensland Brides Magazine and conducted Makeup Artist Training in Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics for the Hayman Island team.

All these experiences have led Lauriely to where she is now, riding the wave at the top of her game and eager to pass on her incredible skills to further advance the industry she loves. Her passion for holding workshops gives the ‘every-woman’ the opportunity to refine their own look easily and comfortably. Her ability to inspire other professionals helps further a dynamic industry. And, the launch of her new website demonstrates not only her desire to pass on her skills to others but also expand her portfolio, breaking into new services and expanding her offering as an entrepreneur.

When Lauriely steps away from the make-up counter she can be found spending time with her three sons Ryan (19), Sean (17) and Kace (11). Her weekends are spent either at weddings making brides look beautiful or on the sidelines of the soccer field watching her youngest son play. Co-owner of Taylors Property Specialists with her husband Rob, Lauriely loves participating in all aspects of business and certainly lives a full and dynamic life.
