With Senior Financial Advisor Steve Obst
The trusted and experienced force behind the future of Eclipse, Steve is taking the pressure off Justin by looking after a large percentage of his clients so that Justin can focus on expansion plans. This means that, for the past two years, Steve has been gradually meeting all local clients and he has enjoyed connecteding with the broader community.
“We have a really lovely client base, which makes my job easy!” said Steve.
“I find working with our retired clients really satisfying because I can help them negotiate fairly complex Superannuation and pension issues. Getting positive outcomes is very rewarding and I love that every week is different.”
Justin and Steve have been both colleagues and friends for over 30 years and when Steve decided to change location, he was thrilled when a position at Eclipse became available. Despite always dreaming about become a police officer, and unfortunately failing the medical, Steve says that helping people with their finances is a fulfilling job and one he takes great pride in.
On the weekend, he can be found dropping a line with his mates at the Whitsunday Game Fishing Club or firing off a round with the Bowen Sporting Shooters Association.
